Cool gift idea, although not sure where to get it.
For my bar-mitzvah, (always being into porsches) a family friend bought this shadowbox for me. It has been hanging in my room in my parenst house since them. The other day my father reminded me of it and i took it. It is from France thats why I am not sure where you would get it from. Hope you enjoy, i sure do......

www.autofanatics.com has something close to it. But, I like yours much better. Reflects my garage a bit better!!

There is a store in the Venician in Las Vegas in the canal mall towards the rear casino entrance. It has lot's of Ferrari items also other exotics. There is a small room in the back of the store with lots of Hand built models, diaramas, etc. cool store they also had a large 1:8 scale I believe Enzo in the window also really cool!
Anyway lots of diarams like yours hand made with lots of detail. They were $1XX.00 if IIRC
