I have a buddy that has a M3 with 20" Maya wheels with 5" lips in the rear. He believes that I can get a 4" lip on 19" or 20" wheels with those manf.

Has anyone have any pics??? I currently have 19" HRE 545r

if you have the narrow body style a 4 inch lip i think is the most you can get but it probably depends on how wide you can go. Also i would stick with the 19's if you have a 996. the 20's can fit on the back but not the front. You may want to check out NC Forged or iForged they both can do the widest lips possible on 3 piece wheels.

 

here is a pic of my NC wheel. it is 19x11 with a 5 inch lip. I could have gone with the 19x12 with 6 inch lip if i wanted to.
