Cleaning interior glass.

Does anyone have any tips on getting the interior glass super clean. It's difficult to tell unless your in full sun at the right angle to see what's going on. I have tried all products too and it is still a major pain in the butt to get it perfectly cleaned up.

Homemade Formula

I learned about this from someone on another board and it works really well. Mix 1/2 Isopropyl alchohol with 1/2 distilled water.
Put it in a spray bottle and go at it. Spray it on the rag or paper towel no diectly on the glass. And when using it for outside glass keep it off the painted surface. Alchohol will strip the wax off.

Here's something my father-in-law taught me. I thought he was crazy until I tried it. This works better than anything else, including microfiber.

Just use Windex and your daily newspaper. For some reason the newspaper picks up everything. No steaks, nothing. I use one page for each half of the windshield. For side windows, same thing, one page per.

Try it once and you'll swear by it too.

1/3 cup of white viniger mixed in a 32 oz. spray bootle. Clean with paper towel and polish with newspaper. Works better on inside than outside glass

Rather than Windex (or other 'pump' liquids) plus paper........I've gone completely to the aerosol spray & towel.........the spray is found at stained glass-mirror shops....and also in auto supply stores.

Use the financial section, focusing on the NYSE while being careful to wipe only in an upwards motion.

I've tried a lot of products, and by far the best is Griot's Garage window cleaner wipes. It smells like they contain alcohol, and along with their lint free towels, your windows will be crystal clear. I like the wipes since you don't have to spray the cleaner on the window and get the mist on your leather dash, door panels, etc.

Griots Garage has good stuff. I have used the cleaner but not the wipes. i think another secret is swapping out towels regularly.

Newspaper, " There is no substitute".
My Dad taught me that trick 45 years ago.
Don't forget to wash your hands.

I'll vouch for the newspaper. I learned that about 15 years ago from my grand mother.

Best stuff so far I have found is Stoner Products "Invisible Glass" Spray, and a good microfibre towel. As long as the towel if clean, this stuff leaves no streaks what so ever. It is even better than the newspaper and windex trick that I used for 30 years.

I use Invisible Glass and paper towel on outside only. Polish with dry newspaper.
