One Rare C4 S !!!

This was in my parking garage at work in downtown NYC. Was a nice older gentleman who told me he bought it second hand at a significant discount with only 4k miles on!

Yes, you see correctly, Paint to Sample BMW Phoenix Gold! Not my cup of tea but sure is Rare!!!!!! He said the car was great for daily driving wiht the winter wheels and tires he had on.

Sorry for the quality of pic but they were taken with camera phone

The color is plain ugly. So I like it! Needs black wheels.
But I would hesitate to buy unless cheap. Resale value?

I bet it'd look great in the right light...fluorescent garage light might not do it justice.

Looks like a garage where you park the car yourself. Is that the Battery Park Garage?

recently, i saw a laguna seca m3. four years ago, when i ordered my m3, if i only had a choice b/w laguna and phoenix, i would have taken laguna although in reality i chose titanium silver/imola red. Today, seeing that laguna seca just rubbed me the wrong way. or maybe it was the two goons creeping up 57th St. in it with their windows rolled down with the bass turned all the way up. either way, the color and the goon combination just looked horrible. Hello! it was like 35 degrees! why are your windows down! somehow, phoenix yellow looks ALOT better today than it did before. I guess it's only b/c it, compared to laguna, is just a more inviting warmer color. NOT that I would get one though

However, of the M colors, Imola Red is the way to go! I love seeing Imola Red M3s/M5s/X5 4.6s etc etc! To this day, i still kick myself for not having ordered Imola Red :/

I've always loved that M3 Laguna Seca...... If I get an E46 I'm searching for that color first.

We did plugs in Phoenix a few years ago, nearly gagged all over the floor.

Yuk. Not for me, but hey, if someone loves that color, we're here for 'em!
