porsche seats: tight on shoulders

i sat on the standard 996 seats and it was very tight on my shoulders. this was strange b/c i didnt even see much bolstering around the shoulders? i'm not that big nor do i have very broad shoulders. i havent sat on a sports seat or GT3 seat but i bet they are even worse... ?

Maybe you're just not used to the seats?

I've noticed over the past 10 years nearly any new car I get causes my back to be sore for a while. Because I need to get used to the different shape and support compared to what I'm used to.

The seats are designed to hug your sides down lower, I dont see how they would be snug up top, a GT3 seats isnt even tight up top.

Porsche seats through the years are pretty tight around the back. It is not you it is the seat you get used to it keeps you in your place thats for sure I feel weird when I sit in other cars... not very secure. FYI the Sport will be just as firm around the sides and deep the GT3 is a different story your not going anywhere!

From experience, the sports seats are ten times more comfortable on long drives...

not too hard to swap out - if you wan put a WTB in the FS section as Im sure someone who upgraded from sport to GT3 would be willing to sell them...
There was a set for sale but I think it has yellow backs
Check ebay too

The seat swap is easy, four reverse torx bolts and wiring harness.
