New to the world of Porsche 911s

Hi I go by Hatch, I have been on forums before instagram and facebook, I love going to one specific place to learn, get advise, meet new friends and overall learn things new. I recently bought a 2002 996 MK1, I was fourtante to find one at a honda stealership for a low price (they didn't know what they had) very low miles to boot. My passion is restoring/chopping vintage pre 70's Harley Davidsons but shifted my eye on the beautiful 911's, I think the 996 is an underdog, but I have test drove a 997 and found that the 996 is more nimble and not so big, it's like driving a small race car. I'm already starting to put my special touches on 996 with some 19's 2 piece (right now they are getting powdercoated to satin black, Strosek wing on a narrow boday (might not use, maybe) carbon details on dash, new flat top Alacantra steering wheel, new shifter blah blah blah. I hope to benefit good info on here and meet great informative people and so far this seems to be the right place. here is my 996 as of now, still a working piece of art which I'm falling in love with everytime I get behind the wheel.

Your car looks great.

You should consider attending Porsche Breakfast Club meetings in the Denver area, or joining PCA and attending events.
