Wheel Cleaners

What kind of wheel cleaners do you folks use on the 911 Carrera light alloys?

Mostly I use Griots Garage Heavy Duty wheel cleaner. Safe for everything and works really well. I recently tried a new wheel cleaner from Boyd Coddinton that surprised me. The downside is that so far, it only comes in a 16oz spray bottle.

So what's wrong with Dawn liquid to clean them, then wax and done?

Tell you what: use whatever you want to use. Dawn is still a step up from Simple Green.

Generic Name brands

I'm rather a skeptic first before I "believe". It must have credibility, and not bought out of an irrational "fear". Really enjoy dissecting the miracle to see what's it's made of. We might have some or most of the ingredients already in the cabinets, just a matter of putting them together the right way. Proprietary rights are expensive because of R & D. All we need to do is the [D}..
