Help with web hosting sites.
I was thinking about setting up a web page, I notice some people use different ones, which to choose? are they easy to setup? easy to maintain? requirements? costs? etc.... and help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks
I use my own server at the office so unfortunately I can't be of alot of help. I do know that there are usually capacity and bandwidth limitations so be sure to keep that in mind.
We should talk to 6speedonline and see if they are willing to host a server with a big backbone and tons of storage for a nice media resource. I dunno?

Call your internet Service provider. I pay $20 per month.
No limit really on the bandwidth. They said they would just call and give me **** if I use too much .. LOL

You can check out Yahoo! Web Hosting.
Their cheapest plan is only $12/month -- this includes domain registration of your choice (they pay for it), web-hosting, includes 10 e-mail addresses (can set-up in outlook or check from the web-mail client), 50MB of storage & 20GB of data transfer per month.
They also include some very easy site builder tools as well (nothing high-end, but easy to use for a novice to mid-level computer user).

Also, if you need additional storage space for hi-res images you can purchase additional space pretty cheap...
Good Luck...
