Two Chimes On Take Off

My 2001 C4 Cab has developed an unusual glitch. Every time I pull away from a stop light it chimes twice. I have checked all doors, seat belts, the hand brake, all are closed or are in the proper position. Any ideas what may be causing this ? It is a little annoying.

Check your "speed limit" setting on your steering wheel stalk. A similar thing happened to me and it turned out I had set my speed limit warning to 50mph inadvertently. It's either that or potentially a problem with the relay that its connected to.

You are absolutely right !! I reset my speed limit setting to 100 kph and the chimes have stopped. I hear them when I hit the 100 kph mark. Thanks my friend--
