Quad tips installed - to coat or not??

Hey Guys..

After much going back and forth with Type 911 in England, they finally got the problem with my tips straightened out. I put them on to fit them properly before I installed the headers and the rest of the exhaust. I'm going to powder coat my wheels gloss black, with a set of yellow Sandoval calipers behind them. I was thinking of having the tips coated black as well. As you might know, powder coating gets mushy above 300 degrees and the gloss goes away. This problem will become worse after I SC my car . Typical ceramic coating is dull and looks like primer. But, Classic Coatings - http://www.classiccoatings.com/ceramic.html - does have a gloss black ceramic coating. It is actually a black ceramic with a gloss clear silicon coating applied over it. It looks pretty shiny, but not quite super gloss. Surely better than standard ceramic high heat coating. What do you guys think, gloss black wheels with gloss black exhaust tips?

Thanks Alex,
I've lived with them for a few days and like them the way they are.

Leave them. My buddy coated his and although they looked great at first, the paint started flaking off very soon thereafter.

No, I paid 277 Pounds Sterling, which was about $470 on the day I bought them from Type 911. I ended up getting two sets because the first was not perfect. I complained and they sent me another set at no charge. The first set was not really that bad. Go figure. What counts is that I REALLY like them.
