As I'm sure many of you are aware it seems the 996 4s/turbo have become pretty popular this last year. With that said I've been on the hunt for about 18 months to find the "one". Now that I've potentially found the one I'm getting cold feet due to the fact I've spent the last 24-36 hours reading about all the issues and what needs to be done at 100k miles. This is something I've known but for some reason I decided to go back and refresh myself on right before I go and look at a c4s.

My question is, are there really that many issues with this car? The car current sits at 89k for $33k really really good service records up to 2017 then it looks like the owner bought it drove it for 500 miles a year and got an oil change every other year roughly. The last few years are what is scaring me a decent amount, I know these cars needs to be driven. Even if the PPI comes back good would that be a red flag for you?

I am somewhat of a weekend warrior mechanic always have done the basics but have never owned a porsche, after watching what seems to be every video out there on ims and aos and rms and everything in-between I feel like I have a decent idea what to expect but am looking for maybe a few words of encouragement lol, the 4s has been my wallpaper for the past 4 years and something I promised my self I'd get once I ticked a few goals off the list, now that it's time I'm getting cold feet lol.
