I took my C4S out for a drive yesterday and got stuck in a jam as I couldn't get to reverse. It seemed as though it disappeared. Putting it in reverse was putting it into 1st. All other gears were fine. I lifted the car to find the shifter cable in place but a bit of plastic over the top had come off. When changing gear it was coming off. After closing it down I could get to reverse but it kept popping out. For now I've zip tied it with two zip ties and its holding but is there another fix for this without changing cables for now? Or can I just tighten the cable?
