Angry Someone glued wood to my Porsche!

Anyone seen this before? Previous owner glued a slab of particle board in the frunk. Looks like they used it to mount an amp or sub-woofer. It was a chore to remove.

I noticed that the liner was not lining up with plastic clips and screws. While troubleshooting I saw the board through a gap. It weighed about 2.5 lbs.

Initially I tried using a crowbar to pry it off, but the metal structure was bending and warping. Ultimately I used a circular saw to section the wood making it easier to remove it piece by piece.

Image with board as I found it.

In progress removal.

Board finally removed.

No more wood.

Ya, I was glad to get rid of it. It caused the trunk liner to sit weird in there. Now everything lines up. Cheapest way to lose 3 pounds.
