they look like replica of SSR GT-3. in the description, they said this is the only set made for 997 at sema. but yet this will fit 996 turbo. you may want to double check this. as far as i know, regular 997 and wide body 996 are not compatible.

otherwise, great price for good looking wheel.

Those are a narrow body wheel...in order to use it with a C4S you will need a spacer for the rear and have the disadvantage of a 10 inch rear, ie less rubber and possible reduced traction and grip and your handling may suffer. I have no experience with the seller....

Mike, just keep in mind that the replica's are usually a good bit heavier than stock -- I'd guess 20-25% heavier than stock. I do love the look.

They don't show the signs of a forged wheel to me. I'd shy away from them.

" Forged 3PC STYLE " says it all. They are forged 'style' wheels. Not forged wheels. Deceitful advertising says run away to me, despite the nice style. Caveat Emptor.

I've deal with them before, poor poor serives. Their mistake makes me pay extra on duty and tax. Contact them many times and they're not willing do anything with it and end up left negative to my ebay account. I will not suggest to deal with them.

btw, they charge crazy amount with shipping. $225 UPS ground for a set of wheels??? WTF, So add it up to the total!!

Those rims are made by a company called Modular Wheels that makes replica rims. A kid in my schools like uncle of something owns the company and he's been trying to sell them. The quality seems alright, not horrible but not great. and they definately are NOT forged. I wouldn't buy them.

Not trying to be thick here, but if they aren't forged then how are they made and what's the big deal. Not that I'm buying a new set of wheels since I just got my sports design ones.

They are cast which typically results in a heavier, lower strength wheel. Depending on the casting technique they can have internal voids as well. End result is that a low quality cast wheel < high pressure casting < forged wheel.
