Savannah interior slight orange hue

I few people have commented on some of my interior plastics having a slightly orange hue. I hadn't really noticed until they mentioned it. The upper dash has the hue while the lower seams "normal". Is this normal on Savannah interior (no leather options besides the seats)? Or is it possible that the dash, door panels, and steering wheel were painted?? Do those areas fade more that they would have been painted b4 i bought it?

I think all the savannah interiors have the orange hue. The 1st time I saw mine (01 C4) I didn't believe it was beige.

Guess I got lucky then.

The full leather makes a huge difference. Could be that your plastics have too much coating on them from treatments (either yours or previous owner). Try warm sudsy water and a clean sponge, lightly go over the plastics, then treat with Lexol but wipe it down soon after applying. Let dry for a day or so.

I doubt those things would discolor the plastic, but the 'sheen' might be reflecting light and tricking the eye into seeing more orange. Savanna typically has a pumpkin hue to it.

Pumkin might be a better descrition of the hue. Some of my parts match your pics, but others have more tint to them. That's why I suspect a possible respray of the interior with mismatched paint. I'll definately try your cleaning suggestions though. Thanks.

I was considering doing a complete interior color change to black, but it's just going to be too much trouble. I'm now leaning towards having some of the parts leather covered to match a leather optioned car. ...maybe. I change my mind often.
