Great track day yesterday at VIR full course. Got the chance to try my new PSS9s out. There was an incredible RUF on the track, 2700 pounds with 580HP. Steve B. was the driver and he was giving rides (after signing a waiver of course). On the back straight in my 996 I could hit around 130MPH the RUF was hitting 177MPH !! The front straight I could hit 123MPH and the RUF could hit close to 170MPH! Needless to say it was a wild ride. Very little traffic and great weather, just about perfect.

The guy taking the vid drives a red Vette. Great driver with lots of experience, he blew past me too easily. I don't think anyone was faster until the RUF came out.

Wow. Awesome cars, yours looks great. Loved the pictures in the briefing room, you could see who buys these cars. Buy in the video what is that sheet on the console?

 

wow... you can tell when the RUF was really pushing it... the corvette had some good footage

 

Not sure what the sheet is. I know the guy only drives the vette on the track, it's not licensed for street use so maybe he removed the a/c and radio.
