Q about lease return

My buddy is returning his leased 02 c2 cab. Its not in the best shape and he wants to find out what mechanical stuff, dents and dings he needs to take out before inspection in order to not get charged. On the other hand he doesnt want to fork out cash for stuff he doesnt need to fix. Does anyone here have experience w lease returns to Beverly Hills Porsche?
Any info wuld be greatly appreciated.
TIA -Peter

Don't know about Porsche's lease returns but Mercedes returns are inspected by an independent appraiser that basically does an area or region on lease returns. Dealer really has very little influence with the appraiser but *may* have some with corporate's resolution of any problems. Buddy probably needs to check out his lease agreement and see what he's agreed to. What kinds of problems does he have? W/ Mercedes they really let you get away with quite a bit of 'normal wear and tear', including dings and scratches up to a certain size and number on any one panel.
