Hello Guys!

I am looking at a Porsche in the Pompano area. It is a black on black 911 Aerokit with circa 60k miles on it...

I told the seller that i want to have a PPI done at a dealer, and he gave me a bunch of grief that the dealer always makes the cars that they inspect seem worse then they are, because they want your money...

After adamently insisting a PPI, and that if it passes, that i will buy the car, he agree'd...

A couple questions: 1) are dealers known to degrade a PPI vehicle so you buy one of theirs? 2) can anyone recommend a shop to do PPI in the Pompano area??

I know that Champion is a big dealer, and i called them abot getting a PPI done, but they told me that they won't inspect the body, frame or etc...

I am not worried about the mechanics,(i do my own work) as much as i am if it has ever been in any accidents...

not a good sign if he's trying to talk you out of a PPI. Unless you were already in love with that car, I wouldn't waste anymore time with this one and keep searching.

i haven't heard of dealers coming up with things that were wrong so that they could make money from a PPI. maybe at a VERY crooked dealer but especially not Champion - only heard good things from them

in summary, tell this guy to F&^* off and move on
