SMOG check in Cali ? (Headers/Intake/Chip)

I'm planning on putting VFLOW, GIAC chip and Orton headers but was wondering to those who had changed one or all of the items above if you had problems with SMOG check ?

Would VFLOW pass visual check or I pretty much have to change back the stock each time I do a smog check ?

Please advise.

Thanks,
J.

My guess is the guys doing the smog check would have no idea that you are running an after-market intake...They just don't seem that knowledgable.

I would have to agree. Porsche's don't come in everyday. With Hondas and Toyotas, they see tons of them every day.

I just passed CA smog and DMV inspection with Fabspeed intake, headers and exhaust. ECU is the tricky one...depends. I know of Audi guys who have both passed and failed with chipped cars.

I have a GIAC Flash loader I'm willing to part with (brand new). This will allow you to switch back to stock. PM me if you are interested.
