Hehe I know man:P Don't get me wrong, I love my turbo, but there is something to the 2WD light weight nature of this car that I can't quite put my finger on properly yet. Just "feels" right.

THat is funny you say that Alex, cause every driver that has driven my car (instructors at lapping days) love the way it feels. I have narrow body wheels and tires on it right now and it has not been corner balacned since I took out a bunch of weight, and they just love the way it feels!!! very responsive and agile

lightweight? sheeoot mine is STILL heavy. 1/4 tank gas, no speakers, stereo, door panels, rear carpet, rear sets, no seatbelt mech and my car is 2963. i guess the beefy cage and supercharger add a lot

so you think every cup car looks weird?
every narrowbody cup car has these uprights.

this is the RSR wing and uprights. acutally the wing is the same but the uprights are different.

what was your weight before you took out the weight?

the wide track probably has something to do with the car feeling agile... but every car feels agile compared to a TT

carlos, TO be honest I don't know the weight before. I took out all the seats, replaced with GT3... aribags, sound deadening, all foam sound stuff...
so I will go up to the weight station here in the next week or two and see how it is...

and for the wing, i meant for stock looking C2.. not a cupcar big meany

hehe, just playin with ya.

the cupcar is really a c2 with a big wing. i do agree, the cupcar wing is a little over for a narrowbody. the RS wing is better, it sits lower.

i took the sound deadening out too and it sounds like the windows are open all the time

oh ya, gotta put in alex's old carbon hood on. that should lop off another 30lbs.

gotta get rid of the AC and sunroof next. do we really need the 5pmh bumpers too? :O

i think we'll have to start a widebody + supercharged club. i will be on next on the list for flares.

My turbo is really set up as well and made to go fast on the track (not in my hands lol) and already has but it's always "working", "working" etc.. And fighting physics and weight no matter how much power it has. C2 just feels at ease etc... hard to explain

That cage of yours was/is VERY heavy. Holy mamma... I'd say about 90 pounds at least??! The SC does add some weight for sure. I'd guesstimate about 70 pounds at least

maybe 80~90#s ... 40 rollbar, 30 for the front cage hoops and 20 for the side intrusion bars. i nearly threw out my back putting roll bar in the damn car . i still have to install the front hoops. i hope removing the sunroof will offset the weight of the cage. oh ya, can't forget plexi windows

ya it's heavy, it's PCA-club racing leagal and is FIA certified/crash tested.

are you taking the 5 MPH bumpers off? i'm thinking about it.

So are those new hubs or is that part of the new rotors? How much do those rotors cost?
