Question Bip when car is locked and unlocked

Hi guys !

Is there another way to make sure the car is locked or unlocked besides looking at the flashing lights ?? I mean by programming a bip sound or something (like any other car... ) like that...

Thanks

keep the center console open is the only way I know of. I asked this question and it seems there is no other way to do this.

There is another way that is a little more involved but better than leaving the center console open everytime you leave your car. There is a wire that goes to your radio that is part of the security system. If you clip that wire, the security system will sense an open sensor and trigger the beep everytime you lock your car.

you can double click the lock button. it will beep when it locks but it will disable the interior motion sensors (so i was told).

Humm, seems like there'd be a way to trick the center console switch into thinking its always open.

When installing my short shifter I left the relay for the center console disconnected. It is always in the open position. Now I get a chirp everytime I arm the car even with the center console closed.

I don't care much for horn tone but a nice soft chirp or arp arp might be nice..... I remember hooking up a beeper bit on a car of mine which let out a small "beep" every 10 sec. or so.... That was pretty neat, I wanted to do this to the P-car but not enough time..... May be a near future project.....
