Jack mode automatically and level fault

I was driving back today and when I parked in a parking lot, it said Jack mode on the instrument cluster. Then I drove off and the message went off. I thought it became on for some reason and I tried to turn it off by holding the strut button and level button. It said level fault contact dealer. Now I held the buttons back and the level fault message disappeared.

*UPDATE* while I was driving back home from the parking lot, I got a message saying level fault. That message is not going away.

if you have jm armed then you got the message "level fault" - this is normal

but the fact that you got level fault during driving without any reason (from your perspective) then it is not normal

assume all is ok with your leveling - car is ok on all wheels?

if yes - then you need diag it - vcds should tell what air suspension is complaining about

Car was driving fine. Although I noticed that it was very high up when I parked it.

you may have the leveling sensor dead or disconnected

first take a look if fhe sensor is in its place and the arm is linked to the suspension

How do I check that? Do I have to remove anything?

@Dgeedhar ,
Be sure that both buttons are moving freely, and that no drink/liquid has been spilled in the area causing said action.

Both of the buttons are working smoothly, and I don’t think there’s been any spillage.. I turned the car on today and it was fine until i took it out of the garage. It said Jack mode on the dash.

Do you think it’s possible to drive? It’s not leaking any air but when I tried raising the car, it said it was raised, but when I went to set it back to normal level it didn’t work and said level fault contact dealer service. The car is raised a bit.

I drove it today and there were no lights. However the car is basically stuck in the raised suspension mode. It drove perfectly fine and there were no lights. Is this ok to drive?

On Thursday, the suspension became normal and stayed normal for about 3 days and there were no lights. Today however when I moved the car out of the garage, I got the message jack mode again.

do vcds scan and come back to us, maybe your car tells you what is hurting.

Yes I will get right to it. I drove the car last night again and the Jack mode light disappeared once I drove it. And it hasn’t come back again. It looks like it’s intermittent.

I am finally purchasing a ross tech today after getting a lot of suggestions to do so. I drove the car again, and the jack mode light came on. It disappeared as I drove over 5 mph. But shortly after(Almost 1/4 mile) I got the level fault contact dealer warning, and it stayed on the whole drive. The car was raised up and wouldn't lower when I try to lower it. It says normal level reached, but it actually doesn't go back to the normal level. After turning the car off and back on, the level fault light was off but the jack mode light came back. Last Thursday the fix for this was to put the car in high suspension mode(Even though it was already raised) and then take it above 80 mph. Then the car actually lowered and I didn't have any lights after that. But I don't know if this is okay to drive with as everything looks okay?

I'm having this same exact problem with mine since I got it shipped to me. Get a VCDS and run a scan and lets see what you have.

Further, my rear right door does not lock/unlock button.

When I open that door, before I drive away - Jack mode comes on.

Here in Maui, theres not a whole lot of times you can go 80+ so I rarely notice this issue. I've kind of trained myself not to speed using this! haha

Haha I wish I could stay under 80. I don’t think there is anything wrong with using the car in this situation? As I drove it today almost 30 miles, I kept the car in high suspension mode and there have been no error lights. When I go over 80, it just says lowering and then it lowers. It then stays good for a couple days and then the same issue occurs. Let me know your findings!
