996 Clutch Issue
If its the original clutch, I'd say its time.
Also look at the flywheel, if its overheated/blue, it can cause your shuttering too. You also want to clean/lube the linkage internally in the trans, it can stick, which can also produce your shuttering.
It would be stupid to not replace the RMS with updated bolts, then if it leaks in 2 years, its a warranty repair IF you go to the dealer to have it done, that warranty is good at any Porsche dealership. You can always have the dealership install the (less expensive) clutch you provide.

Okay guys, here is the scoop. It turns out that the problem was a faulty camshaft actuator (at least I think that was the name of the part). It was diagnosed by Don Rosen Imports and fixed under warranty. This was causing the car to shudder when pulling away from a stop at low RPM. After getting the car back I must say that I am very happy. It drives much better now. Thanks again to all who gave advice.

If you do not know the history of service, bleed the hydraulic system for the clutch, clean the MAF (yes, an improperly functioning MAF can cause jerkyness from take off).
