Beautiful wing...that would look good on my Targa

Where did you order it and how much?

Any mods needed to make it fit properly?

Cheers

Beautiful wing.

Does it mount on the existing lid? If so, does it raise at 75mph or do you have to disable that feature. If you disable the auto raising of the standard wing does that restrict airflow into the engine bay at high speeds.

I would also be curious about cost of the wing and how difficult it was to install.

TIA,

Bart

Yes it eliminates the motor function and no real modifications required, it is a 2 piece wing which maintains the airflow. I had Lucent Motors do it and they were great. Retails for around $3400 and can be found for around $2500.

Are we talking about the TechArt type III wing....?

CEC just quoted me $2000 USD for that.

What part number is your wing?

i.e. 096.100.835.009 or something similar

Cheers

CEC quoted me $3,200 also.
The group buy that was on a few weeks ago put that wing around $2,300 (which is a few hundrd less that a dealer can normally buy it for).
If you can get a new one direct from CEC for $2K - you should buy it!! (you could always resell it and make a few bucks)

CEC needs an anti-trust lawsuit against their monopolistic actions!!
