tires questions

I have a 996 C4S. Want to put Mich PS Cups on it. Found some cheap 285s for the rear. Any thoughts. How would it make the car handle?

Are you using matching tires in front also? Otherwise, I would not do it. Mixing track and street tires is a bad idea. I have doubts about buying track tires since I'd worry about heat cycle.
