rear taillight assembly replacement

I suffered a broken rear tail light over the weekend and am curious how difficult they are to swap out. My service mngr says they can't get me in until late next week. I found the part from another dealer and can have it in 2 days. My first inclination is to just do it myself unless someone has a horror story about these things.

Thanks,
Shrews

Very easy. I took mine out to replace the turn signal bulbs with Philips SilverVision. Owners manual has instructions in bulb replacement section.

Yes, it is very easy to replace the bulb or even unit if you had to. I beleive there are a couple of screws on the inside edge of the engine compartment that come out and then the whole unit slides right out. Good luck.
