Moving Heating Controls Down in Console

Anybody who has done this, How easy is it? I purchased the storage shelf to get rid of that awful tape deck storage (who owns a cassette!!) Do I need additional parts? Is it a PIA to swap the two? How long should it take? Not sure if it matters its a 02 C2 996. Want to make sure this is even possible before I rip apart the dash.

Where did you get your storage shelf? I'd like to remove my cassette storage unit as well. Cassettes!?!

Easy...takes maybe 30 minutes...You need a new bezel for the HVAC controls in the lower location, the bezel in the upper section is a different shape. Its about $8 from the dealer. the toughest part is routing the wires, it 2 wires with fairly large connectors and that needs to be routed lower...
