Is it Possible to put 997 seats into a 996?

I have a friend that wants to get rid of his 997 seats that are full power but not the luxury seats. I have a 996 with the ugly luxury seats and was wondering if I could buy them off him and install into my car. Please someone let me know soon before he gets rid of them. Also let me know if you think they will look out of place.
