Hey there. I'm considering buying a 996 with 38k miles for high 40s. Should I take the water cooled plunge from my 993?

It's an 02 C2 with sport seats, and I think that's it. I know the mileage is high so I'm hoping to work the price more maybe in the mid 40s. It's a private sale with no extended warranty.

According to Edmunds the trade in for a car of this caliber is 52k which makes me exceptionally excited. To me I'm not too concerned about mileage because you can almost always get a great deal on cars with 'high' mileage.

 

Especially check to see the service history for tranny and RMS problems.
