Low demand

Is it me, or does there seem to be very low demand for 996s?
Good time to buy?

If you're asking they are affordable then the answer depends on your idea of affordable.....

I just bought my 02 coupe for $45k with less than 28K from a dealer. Quite a bit less than the retail price at the time. I suspect when I trade it back to him for a newer one he'll offer well under the wholesale value. Same thing happened with my other Porsche. You won't get rich buying this things, but you will have a butt load of fun driving them.

I AGREE: Buy them to drive them and have all the fun you can while you have them. Dont' buy them for the re-sale or save them to be 100% for the next person who will only give you half of what you paid for it after four years.....

I would buy one for the fun of a 911, of course. Too bad I can't afford one.
I just speculated that the demand was low due to rather low prices for 996s I've found online.

I had real trouble finding a 100% clean one, too almost 3 motnhs to find the color and options that I wanted.

Its a car, its not a investment.

MY 2002 911s are the upgraded ones, correct (engine, etc.)?

I saw a really clean 993 Turbo yesterday that is making me think hard between a 996 or 993 for a second 911.
