out of curiousity, do you guys think the new champion airbox would work on the 996???

Having installed so many EVO air intakes on 996, 997 and 997S' there are quite a few differences and nuances that make me say it won't work without some mods (and you have the C4S with the extra tranny vacuum line I believe). Fitment is similair but not exact. Seeing as it's carbon... not sure it would be a good candidate for hacking.

I thought they were selling them for 3000(yes...US currency ) give or take some , i saw or read somewhere...

heh.. well the one we always sell/install (the EVO box) isn't anywhere near that much but it does make some good power...

I'lltake the evo intake any day over that carbon bling, though i have to admit the carbon does look awsome...

^ only with the flux capacitor's sport mode turned on. But you can't have that unless you buy a car with sunroof, full leather and PCMII
