since i just got a new set of wheels, i was thinking about using the front 17" carrera wheel as a full size spare. it should also work for the rear right? i'd rather use this than the dinky spare. it would also improve weight distribution right?

 

Doesnt fit in the boot/trunk. Had a blowout on one of the fronts, and the tire wasn't close to fitting. Even if you left it deflated I dont think it'll fit, and then you'd need a compressor, and you'd have to trunk space.

 

sure it fits. i fit 4 wheels recently, 3 in the cabin and 1 in the trunk. i removed the spare and stashed it in the cabin and angled the front tire t the back so it would clear the hood.

 

It may fit in a C2, but maybe not in a C4.
