the one in the picture is a giant TCR carbon, excellent bike for the money. don't use that one anymore (you know how it goes, want something new). i now have a scott cr1 and an orbea orca... both carbon. can you tell this is my other hobby? . i think my wife wishes i just kept the hobbies restricted to cycling... it's much cheaper than tracking/car modding

ya, don't care for the new paint schemes. mine is an '03 model which i stripped and clear coated.

i am off an on with altovelo (mostly off, you know... work and stuff). this year has been a bad cycling year but i am trying to make up for it. soon i'll be back in the club rides and maybe do a TT.

i'm not really into street racing but this was an unusual occurence. we were both going onto the freeway, with the TT just behind me. hardly ever happens.

M5 huh. with smg? must be a beast. 500HP right?

I love the CF on your bike.... where does your plate go after you set up the bike rack?

Yeah, the M is a beast... Always wanted to test her against a stock TT though. I ran against iLLM3's TT and it pulled away hard on me, but his car is insanely fast for a stgII

I'm surprised there hasn't been more 996SC vs. TT stories around here... I was in my m5 a few months ago and was trying to get a good run with topspn (he has a evosc as well), but traffic never permitted. oh well
the only story i can tell is the one where GaryFL's stage 4.3562 TT smokes the pants off my SC

the TT's have sooooo much more torque than our SC'd cars. i haven't run a stock TT yet (no one seems to leave them stock) but I bet it would still be close....

from the line, stock TT vs 996SC, i believe the TT would win BECAUSE of the torque.

i was in my powerband when this all happened and it was only from 40 to 90 mph . wasn't a REAL race but out accelerated him.
