Pricing and trading

Hello everyone,
Ive been lurking for a bit and finall decided to say hello. I love this board andhave already leaned a lot.Im looking into possibly purchasing a 99-2002 996. I currently own a 2002 BMW 4.6is w/36k, I would like to sell it or perhaps trade it for a black c4. Im up here where it snows so i really need the AWD. I was wondering how much I could get/ask for the car. Or if anyone knew of someone looking to perhaps trade their c4 for a larger car. additionally, what would say a 99 c4 with say 60k with lots of mods go for?

well ive had a 2001 cab in the past, never should have sold it. The ones Im looking at have mostly aesthetic mods, (ones that i like acutally) my only reservations are price and miles on the car

I'm in the same situation as you - looking for my first C4.
One of the first things to do is to look on autotrader.com, cars.com and eBay motors to look at what is currently on the market that will meet your needs. Take a look at the Porsche pre-owned search tool on Porsche.com as well. Search the classifieds in sites like this one.
Once you've determined your price point, you can decide what type of car you can get.

Good luck!

I have 1999 996 C4 that I am getting ready to sell. Arctic Silver / Black Leather, Full Power Seats, CD Changer, 18" Wheels, PS2's, New Brakes all around. The car has 57,xxx miles and just had the full 60K service performed. The car is in Very Good condition and I have all the service records. No Accidents, No Paintwork, No Problems. I think $34.5 is a fair price.

Let me know if you are interested. Mark
