Stupid Valet Parking!!!
Stupid Valet Parking!!!
Went to Ruth’s Chris for dinner a week ago and valet parked the car (couldn’t find a parking space), the kid parked my car left pen marks (blue ink) on my center console (just found out today, didn’t drive the car all week).
I couldn’t remove the marking; does anybody know how to get rid of the pen marks aside from replacing the center console?
Is it too late to call Ruth’s Chris on this? TIA

Thanks all, I tried soap and water but didn't work. I did contacted Ruth's Chris and working on getting this resolved with them. I will keep everyone posted.
Thanks again.
Should of known better leaving the car with valet....but they did park it in front of the restaurant.

Also try diluted rubbing alcohol. You need to find a solvent for the ink...do not just try to rub it out mechanically or you will ruin the frosted finish. Try searching autopia.net or detailcity.net for other ideas.

i forget who makes it, but you can get it in the cleaning section in the supermarket. it's a foam sponge that takes marks away. it might work. it's very mild so it probably couldn't hurt anything.
