Gemballa Sport Exhaust

Is the Gemballa Sport Exhaust with Throttle Mechanism the same thing as PSE? Seems like it's got the vacuum hoses, electronics, etc.
Does anyone have it installed? Impressions?
Thanks!

From what gemballa usa told me, no its not. The throttle mechanism has a 'flap' that opens and closes with the amount of throttle being used. its not an 'on' 'off' switch like PSE. hope this helps.

PorscheC4:
Cool, sounds good. I know they have some sort of Dash defeat switch. Wonder if I can wire it up to the PSE exhaust "mute" switch. I'm hoping that it sounds as good as yours does.
Oh, by the way, how is your computer working now with the new exhaust? Everything straighten itself out?

At this point, NO. I have only driven about 25 miles on it so far so need to log WAY more. Whats happening is my rev will rise drop slightly then rise again. and at WOT the RPMs will pause at certain RPMs and then keep going. very frustrating but no CEL light so i hope its just an adjusting problem that will sort itself out or else ill have diagnotics run on it. it feels faster to me tho even with it doing this and the sound is intoxicating.

I gotta tell you though, this thing sounds amazing! i think my car may just not work with the exhaust so it might be for sale very soon. anyone interested PM me. Brand new the mufflers were $1475, tips $375 but i might not sell those and just use them on the next exhaust. it only has 50 miles on it. I would give you a very good deal. $1100 plus shipping.

Its not for sale anymore. the problem was clutch slip and def not the exhaust. i just reinstalled it yest. then came the HUGE GRIN from the sound. And it will fit on a C2 if youre interested in buying one from gemballa. its sounds like the tubi exhaust posted in the 997 section.
