Oh man do I envy you.

I took my Escalade to a local self car wash and I nearly froze my hands off because i did not realize how cold it was outside and did not have any gloves on. In addition, the soapy water froze onto the car and when i tried to wash it off, it did come off, but the water that i sprayed on froze as well. Sucks to be this north at this time of the year

I wish I could be with y'all down in Miami

Preeth

p.s. im in Saratoga Springs, NY

P21S Wax Techniques

Greyghost, your car looks great.

I just bought some P21S wax, but I have to admit, I've never worked with carnauba wax. Could you or others give me some tips on how I can do it right? I have diaper cloths - do I need much more?

Thanks.

A lot of folks use their hands to warm wax and apply...I'm too much a priss to do this, but those who do like the results. I use the P21S applicator, this works great for me. I haven't conquered my P21S wax yet, you can't let it dry I am told, you'll have a tough time getting it not to haze if you let it dry. I am a Blitz One Grand type of person. It is easy to use and the car looks like glass after I'm done. Amazing results. But both are exceptional car waxes. Do a part at a time.

I recently clayed the car, then polished then waxed. WOW....it's been about two months and she looks so good still. And is so smoooooooth!!

(And I have a job now Kirby!)

Britt - Awesome shine there, car looks amazing!

I'm about to wax my car with P21S. I have the 3M clear plastic protection applied on many areas of the car. Do I need to wax the plastic or not? It may sound like a dumb question but just want to make sure.

Wax it like it wasn't there. It'll give it a nice shine also.
