Drooollllllllll BBS's Newest?
Not too bad.......traditional outer barrel yet?
I have not followed BBS, but have they bucked the trend for reverse drop flat lips?.........these are not bad looking wheels (and I'm not a fan of spokes but these are understated & not bad).

I wish i knew more about these guys. Saw em posted on another forum, so i figured i'd spread the news here. I couldn't even tell you what they're called, let alone sizes!!
I can only imagine them being pricier than LMs and LM's were my favorite wheel ever... now these are.

All I was able to get from BBS is basically what Lucent has -
That is the LM-R. BBS Japan is calling it the LM-Racing but I think we will most like just use LM-R to reduce any confusion on rather it is a street wheel or a racing wheel. I am not sure that it is even in production yet. Currently the only fitment information that BBS has given us is that there are a couple of 5x114.3 and 5x120 part numbers established but I do not have any information yet on when the wheel is going to go into production and what the 5x130 sizes will be.
I'll provide more info as I recieve it.

Good looking wheel, but the concave sides on the spokes look like they would be very difficult to clean. It's tough enough having that many spokes to begin with and then having to get into the concave spots. Be prepared to spend some extra wash time .

A little bit more info from one of our contacts at BBS who just got back from Japan after touring the manufacturing facility:
The LM-R wheel is new and they have only released a few part numbers as special order items only. It is a die-forged wheel that also receives a special (patented) back-milling process. The wheels look very nice and they weigh less than the traditional LM. The wheels use the conventional style rim sections(like the LM), not the reverse mount type that the RSGT wheels use. Additional applications are being discussed already. We do not expect to see any wheels in our market until the beginning of 2007.
On the same subject, looks like the 19" RSGT fitments for the 997 are starting to come out as well as 19 x 10 rear for the Cayman and Boxster!
