Programming the AUTO LOCK

I need my AUTO LOCK feature turned on in my car. What will the dealer charge for this? I was searching and read that they can charge $50-$200 to this programming for you. Is this true?

I really want my doors to lock and unlock for me.

I am going to call and make an appt tomorrow just want to know what to expect.

Only can be done by a dealer and they can charge the minimum...1 hour charge (usually like $100-150). If you have a friend at the dealership they may do it gratis. BTW...what is the big deal with auto-lock?

Thanks...that is what I thought.

And its no big deal really...call it LAZINESS. I just like the ease of getting in the car...drive, the car locks...and when I am stopped, pull out the key the doors unlock for me.

I had this on my BMW and grown used to it and would like it on this car. Plus I feel safer would the doors locking for me. I always get in and drive and forget to lock the doors....who knows what can happen...eek.

what are some of the other features that can be activated.
My bmw allows me to lower all windows by holding the keyfob, is this available on the p car? My car is black and it would be nice to open it before getting in.
