I see the point you are trying to make. Other than the wings being large, they're very different with regards to wing height, overall width, shape, and the lower wing. The major offense on this wing I think is it's width, and it's really as wide as it appears in the pics. Extending way beyond the fenders just looks retarded. I agree with you 100%. I just wanted to poke a little fun at people who are crying "shopping cart!" or "Ricer!" when some of the factory porsche wings are just as questionable styling wise. I think the RS wing is at the most extreme of the cool vs. rice threshold on a 996....

The GT3 RS wing looks nothing like that peice of crap wing on that black 996, take a look at how the wing is located on the decklid...that black car is horrible, i feel bad for luis having to see that in person...the gt3 rs wing is much better..

Since someone posted a picture of the factory CF wing I could make a comment speaking from experience. Maybe he mounted his wing lower so he could have an unobstructed view from his rear view mirror? Going out on a limb in using the side mirrors, now he has something to judge blind spot distances with?

how do you explain the wing being six inches wider than the car?
