Wheel Spacer Help ???!!!

Fellow 6Speeders,

I have a set of 19" SSR GT3's that I purchased off a 993 Turbo. The rears fit just fine, but I am having issues with the fronts b/c they are 19x8 (not the 8.5" recommended). The wheels are rather close to the Red Calipers on my 996 C4S and have actually been rubbing on some spots. I was told I might be able to get spacers for the fronts but don't know what to get and where to start. Apparently I need to buy new bolts as well. Any suggestions/recommendations on where I can get a set and what's a guesstimate on the $$$$. Thanks.

Berk

Usually spacer kits come with bolts already, H&R makes them and so does others, Im sure others will chime in soon who have more experience on this.

Guys,

These are great sources. I truly appreciate the help you both have given to me. I'm assuming I need 15mm spacers to get the 1/2 inch or so clearance for an 8" to 8.5" or is my thought process completely off. I just want to get enough of a distance without going out too far. Your thoughts???

7mm or 15mm???

15mm will clear the brakes, but will your tire clear the wheel well (fenders are somewhat rolled)? If its just touching the calipers then 7mm should do it as well.

The fronts are 19x8 and are touching the calipers, but I have not lowered the car. It's the stock set up. I guess I'm going with the 7mm. Thanks a lot guys. I truly appreciate it.

if you are barley touching go with 5mm or 7mm spacers. Talk to vivid racing or Sharkwerks and they should have the H&R spacers. They are hubcentric also.

btw: offset is different from the size..

Brucem,

Thanks my friend. I just ordered 7mm last night and am expecting them next week. Looking forward to putting the "shoes" back on.
