LOOK!! gt2 conversion

2000 996, front bumper rear tail from nr auto all other parts factory. let me know what you guys think.

i am thinking of doing the same with my '99. can't wait to see the pics.

how is NR's quality? i heard it's kinda spotty and requires more work to get it to fit/look right.

sorry, picture will be up shortly. nr front bumper is like a ferrari bumper. it takes me 15 hrs to shave, drill, build and install to make it look right. book time for ferrari front bumperis approx 12 hrs.

FRONT BUMPER: bumper-upper louver- lower spoiler from nr. custome carbon air ducting to radiator(cut 2" upper ends of reinforcement)
HEADLIGHT: headlight-mounting bracket-hid control-headlight height control screws-headlight harness-grey sidemarkers.
FRONT FENDERS: fenders-
ROCKER: rocker outer-lower panel
QTR PANEL: outer qtr- inner qtr-inner qtr brace(see photo)-outer scoop-scoop retaining clips-cooling tunnel(its cooling my mufflers now,ha ha)
REAR COWL PANEL: inner cowl panel has to be cut, tt and 96 uses same part no. (see photo)
LUGGAGE LID: orderd from nr. (this is a perfact fit) luggage hinge mounting panel(use same hinge) luggage lid strut and ball-bolt
REAR TAIL LAMP: tt lamps
REAR BUMPER: tt bumper (no modifications to reinforcement) tt impact cushions
EXHAUST TIPS: tt tips (fab muffler to tip)
WHEEL: gembella 18X12
SUSP: h.r spring (weak, lookin into m30)

spent too muuch!!! evo sc in two weeks!!!!!!!!

wow, that's quite a transformation. i thought you were using the nr auto gt2 LOOK kit for the '99-'01 cars (egg shaped lights)

Why would you do this? Why not use the cost of the 2000 996 and the upgrades to buy the real thing?

What is the point of the intercooler air intakes on the sides when you have no turbos or intercoolers?! All the extra body work just weights more and has more drag.

Work does look quality though, at least you didn't skimp there.

Why did it need new fenders? To fit newer (xenon) headlights?

I would put some wheel spacers on the rears there.
