PSE vs AP ??
If you want a good combo, add the K&N cold air intake. Numerous tests done on this forum proving the dyno results better then competitions intake.

AP tested on our dyno made more HP then the other one.

Funny thing today:
Since I got the Evo Stage 2 upgrade with your AP exhaust, been a bit heavy on the gas up the ramps on our parking garage in 1st gear nowdays to hear the sound...
Got stopped at the elevator by the security who "heard" my car and told me to slow down b/c he thought I was going 50mph.
no pics of the exhaust installed ???? If you dig some up, please post your car up on our gallery! www.myvividracing.com/gallery
Thanks!

Now it's underneath the car
PSE by far has the best sound and even though it may weigh the same a stock, don't think because you run a lighter exhaust that somehow you're going to be faster than that other car esp if you're heavier than the other driver.
Exhaust... #1 priority is the sound... a distant second is the weight.

Like I said, with my experience it will take a couple mins from when you first start the car for the muffler to develop it's full note (donno why). I like it b/c that means I can get out of my neighborhood in the morning and not wake up the neighbors.
Next can be Evo Venturi Intake. It gives a great howl on higher RPMs and with an ECU upgrade the car feels much faster

I believe that the "odd"* exhaust note at cold start up is due to the air injection pump used for emissions control. I wish I could disable it and remove its dead weight.
*Odd = sounds like ***.

I'm going to have to agree with you on that. I heard a PSE (stuck open) on a 997 and it sounded perfect. High pitched and raspy. I loved it. In the name of economy I bought the AP from Dan (this would be my second exhaust). It was every bit of what he said it would be and his service is really great. But I wish the sound was like the PSE. It sounds way too low and the idle sounds too slow as well - I can barely hear it idle! I suspect the aftermarket headers I have, in conjunction with the exhaust relieve too much back pressure. Sunday I'm going to put the stock exhaust manifolds back on and see if that is the problem. I sure hope so. Wishing your car sounded like another's gets frustrating the more you drive
