PSE vs AP ??

Ok, I've probably beat this to death, but i've got it narrowed down to my last few choices. What im looking for is a deep growl that makes my MY01 sound like a sports car (not a rice burner or a ford escort). I've got it narrowed down to PSE and AP. Its hard to get a good auditory sample from video's posted around...Price being relatively equal...which would you recommend?!?!?!?!?

I should mention...voiding the warrenty is not an issue!

AP exhaust. PSE is heavy as hell. Both sound good. BTW, Dans' got a AP for sale for $695

I haven't heard the AP, but the PSE is the shiznit. However, like Dimnslow said, the PSE costs at least twice as much and is heavy. Don't buy one until you've heard them both. There is no hurry so take your time, you're not going to a fire

You will save more weight and make more power with the Agency Power (Ap). Plus it has a better sound!

Dan,
Better sound is all relative. I prefer the high pitched sound while others like the deeper throaty sound. But you are on point in regards to weight savings and price.

No the sound is not a deep corvette like a Fabspeed or B&B. Higher pitched is why customers like the Agency Power exhaust.

Dan,
I didn't describe how the AP sounded, I just said better sound is relative. If the AP has a higher pitch, then I'm sure I will like it.

I have the full time PSE mod and it is more throaty, and makes the stock exhaust sound like it's been hollowed out a bit. At idle, it is difficult to tell the difference between stock and PSE unless you heard them back to back. I would prefer it to be about 15% louder, but of course it must conform to noise regulations. If I were spending money, I would get an aftermarket exhaust for the weight savings and marginal performance gain. The PSE gives you no gain in performance.

You'll like the sound. The exhaust will be much lighter in weight, as well as give you a nice low note that is not as loud as a Fabspeed.

Like I said, with my experience it will take a couple mins from when you first start the car for the muffler to develop it's full note (donno why). I like it b/c that means I can get out of my neighborhood in the morning and not wake up the neighbors.

Next can be Evo Venturi Intake. It gives a great howl on higher RPMs and with an ECU upgrade the car feels much faster

Hey Dan,

How's it going? Quick question... does the Fabspeed create more HP on the dyno or does the AP? Thanks!
