I loved my 40th. Good luck with your sale.
Who was the 6speeder that flipped it like that? So not a cool thing to do!

XX911XX is infamous around these parts
I offered it lower on 6speed because I enjoy this forum so much and didn't mind giving a fellow 6speeder a deal.

Initially, I was upset to see it for sale so quickly. However, after taxes there's not much profit in the flip. Oh well. I got paid and he can do whatever he wants with the car. C'est la vie.

Thanks. Sounds like it'd be the 996 for me, but the painted front bumper vents (in comparison to the C4s and TT) kill it IMO.

I don't understand your statement. They're all 996's.

I think he means he would rather have a normally aspirated 996 because of the 40th's painted turbo bumper vents.

I thought that the vents were not very attractive prior to buying it myself and that was the first thing that I was going to paint.

After owning the 40th, it really kind of grows on you and you end up liking it better than the typical turbo vents. It is probably the same phenomenon that makes you love whatever color porsche you own.
