Spacers on the rear of 996 c4s

My rear wheel just popped today and the inside wall my rim is a little bent

so I am looking at some rims and I saw a set that is 18 X 8" + 18 X 10"

I understand that the rear on the c4s is wider than usual. So I was wondering if any one know when spacers I need for the rear.

Thanks

hard to tell w/o offset info, those seems small, width wise. You shoul go for 10"-11". 10" are stock for a narrow body. I'd check woth the vendor what the offset and post it again here.

Your 996C4S factory wheels offest as follow:
F=8" ET52 R=11" ET45

OEM 997 19"
F=8" ET57 R=11" ET67

Rep. 997 19"
F=8" ET57 R=9.5" ET46

For both OEM and rep. 997 wheels, you need 5mm at front, 22mm at rear to get factory offset. If you want more agressive look, you may add another 7mm front and 15mm rear on top of them.

Just my opin but.......if you are looking for an improved look, you'll want more than 22mm on the rear..........personally I would look for other options rather than 'planning' to run 30mm+ spacers (or whatever) on the rear.
If you do opt for the spacers, I believe Performance Products has em.

I agree, 22mm is to big (thats almost an inch). id go for the oem wheels and maybe put 7mm on them for a more aggressive look. http://www.fvd-web.com/frame.php?m=4
