Hey!
After a lifetime of dreaming of something decent to drive I am finally at a point where I can get my dream car. Well, one of them anyway.
While it isn't new, it is nearly new to me.
This Saturday I am flying into NYC to go get my 2003 Targa, gray in color.
Not the brightest timed event with the weather turning on me but either pick it up or wait 3 weeks to have it delivered.
Yeah-yeah. I know. I should have it delivered but I want it NOW. I have waited 30 years for this car and I won't be deprived of a moment to be in it.
2003 model with less than 16,000 miles. I thought it was a decent machine and I hope when I see her for the first time Saturday she will be everything that I am hoping for.

There are some "canned" pics that the dealer has for selling but I will wait until Saturday and snap some if the weather is dry and before the long drive home.
What a plan of action eh? Only test driven this car locally and here I will be driving it for 1600 miles in my first time with it.
I sure hope that this is comfortable for 12 hours of driving each day!!!
The one option that I thought was dumb was the heated seats. I mean really, when in Houston would I need that? Today would have been nice.

I am a photo ***** and take more pics of the toys I have had then the people around me. I will fulfill my obligation upon my return. Pick up Saturday, arrive home late Sunday, maybe some pics before nightfall on Tuesday.
