Dude. Just buy a Turbo or a GT3. You're going to end up spending like $6,000 for 20 horsepower on a normal 996.

Well i would love to but at my age (24) I think thats i big leap. I get wholesale prices on all these parts and will do the labor my self at my shop = free. I will even buy the car from and auction (ihave my dealers license that = cheap)I know NA power is expensive but i just want a little power over stock with a nice exhaust and motor tone.

Cheap "Exhaust" = $100
(Buy two stainless mandrel bent pipes from summit
Cheap Headers = $900
Cheap Cat Delete = $200
K&N intake = $300
Chip Flash = $1000

$2500. It's going to be loud as hell though....

alot more than N/A engines. Like 3X-10X more than N/A mods depending on HP. On HP/$ cost its cheaper to mod bi turbo, but apple to apple mods N/A are cheaper.

My guess if you did bolt-ons (headers/exhaust/intake/chip) probably 30rwhp if that.

Check the turbo boards. Guys are buying low mileage 01TTs for as low as 59K. Plan on mid 60s to low 70s for an 01

what are you doing to make your car lighter? On our s4's some of the biggestest things we do for weight savings are carbon hood trunk lid fenders light wieght battery gutt the rear light weight bucket seats l/w wheels and on the extreme a carbon fiber roof skin etc

270 out of a 3.4 thats not bad at all.... With minor bolt ons we make about that if not a little more on S4's. I am assuming these cars are much lighter than a audi s4, so it should go rather well...Do you think you could get 300 whp with bolt on's no supercharger or turbocharger? TIA

I am hoping to be at 300ish with my new exhaust (styled after cup car) and tuning work (uni-ship piggy back computer) that NEEDS to be done... my car also has carbon, hood, bumpers, fenders, trunk, wing, GT3 seats and no sound deadening.

so it's kind of light
