You can't possibly want to go lower. You'll be ridding on bump stops....which is bad for handling. Yours looks just great as is. I can't give you mine as my 19's are sitting in my garage waiting to get mounted.

I have PSS9's and mine is about a half finger all around, down from 4 fingers in the front and 3 in the back, I think. When I got my 19's on PS2's I have to have lucent tighten my settings to I think 3-4. PS2's were just a lot more "bouncy" compared to the 18's on P-zero's that I had on the stocks.

Newport,
You car is stunning as it is. My coupe is almost as low as yours, and I'm not gonna try to go lower. I have many battle scars from fighting with driveways on my lower lip as it is.

you guys seem to be the ones to ask... what is the best and most cost effective way to lower my 99' 996, I don't want to do PSS9 maybe just springs. Any recomendations and how much should they cost, labour etc..
Happy HO HO

If you wanna do it right....PSS9's are hard to beat. Just springs is a bad idea....why? The shocks are not setup for the lower ride height. This makes for WORSE handling and the "pogo" effect. So you would need springs and shocks...There is the ROW M030 kit from Porsche which is springs, shocks, sway bars...BUT it does not lower the car all that much at all. When you start to factor in the cost for springs and shocks and the additional labor to install springs and shocks vs. adjustable coilovers, PSS9's are not THAT much more expensive...For that extra money you get adjustable ride height....make it how YOU want it. You also get adjustable shock dampening...make it as soft or as stiff as YOU want it....I have a VERY smooth ride on 19's and a pretty low car....In fact, the ride is better than the stock suspension, with better looks and better handling. Some equate adjustability with "track suspension" but thats not right at all. PSS9's are a little soft for the serious track junkie...they are basically a GREAT street suspension that will do better than stock on your occasional track days...for the more serious track car, JIC's seem to be better, but they are much harsher for street driving.

Kind of hard to see, but my drop is minimal with the PSS9s... I dumped her when I first got the PSS9s installed and it was unbearable with all the potholes, so now the new ride height is easier to get around town.

With the PSS9's what is entailed to adjust ride height? Do the wheels need to come off to adjust, do you need to put it on a lift, or can you just pull over reach in and give it a quarter turn? Any tools required to adjust? Thanks
