How would you compare this to a Brembo or StopTech application?

They _are_ brembo calipers and then EVO's two piece rotors.... They are a great kit and bolt on easily and actually fit stock wheels which is nice. The other kits usually require some larger wheels etc...

It's just a front kit only and no need for a rear.

I am looking for something aesthetically pleasing.....I have 19's and the rotors look real small front and rear....just wondering if there is something out there as well....Also your custom hubs...are they simply standard hubs machined to accept the bigger calipers? My old service rep was telling me to do that.....how reliable are they? How do the new brakes affect ABS and PSM? Also can you do them in yellow?

Off Topic: Wow, I can't beleive the big difference between 18" & 19" wheels look on the calipers and rotors... now Im starting to wonder if I should get the 19".... Or is it my lip??

Dammit Sharky... that is so tempting. I think half this board knows I been eyeing that brake for a while... just can't commit yet.

Trying to save up so I can buy your GT800 when you retire it

Roger you're too funny The white one is staying with me forever. I'll be buried in it

On the brake kit.. it's actually pretty neat and if we don't sell it I think I'll slap it on a Cayman if we get one (did I say that? ooops!)

Alex is there any technical data (engineering guy asking here) out there showing the amount of improvement, stopping distance, on say a 996C2 over the stock brakes?

Both Brembo and EVO had/have a few charts on their site I believe but going by physics the two piece rotor is not only lighter but slightly large and thicker allowing for better cooling properties (aka less fade at the track). They have great bite with those large 993TT 4 piston calipers and brake lines etc.. The stock 996C2 brakes are great but big reds are always an improvement, hence Porsche upgrades the turbos with them
